Hi, there!
I'm Nadine, an accountant-turned front-end developer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba
I always knew that when I started my professional life in
accounting, it wasn't the only profession I wanted to explore.
While I do enjoy the challenges that accounting can bring, I found
myself wanting to have more of a creative aspect to my job.
When I was thinking of what I wanted to pursue, I flashed back to
middle-school computer class learning HTML, and the days of
customizing piczo and tumblr sites. I remembered it to scratch
that creativity-itch, while also being a fun challenge. I've then
decided to take front-end workshops through SheCodes, which has
since solidified my decision of pursuing front-end development
professionally.
Although I am still working in accounting full-time, I would
absolutely love taking on projects on the side!
While I'm not crunching numbers, or writing code, I enjoy knitting
socks and watching reruns of my favourite shows!
